ribOvax biotechnologies SA is a privately held company that owns two proprietary technology platforms in the field of antibody engineering.

SEBVI™ is a proprietary patented process using EBV (Epstein Barr Virus) for the immortalization and cloning of human B cells that secrete antibodies of the IgG isotype which is suitable for efficacious isolation of antibodies of specific isotypes. SEBVI™ also allows the direct screening for fully human monoclonal antibodies (Mabs) in biological assays of antibody-containing culture supernatants from EBV transformed B cells. From our earlier research a number of functionally active Mabs against CMV and HSV have been isolated and preliminarily evaluated for their clinical potential.

pDD (phage Double Display) is a proprietary patented technology that allows the display of exogenous protein sequence in two distinct phage display formats.

Functionally active Mabs against VZV and rubella viruses have been generated and have been evaluated for their clinical potential. Whilst it may be valuable in identifying Mabs, pDD potentially has more valuable application in the identification of novel biologically active peptides.
